Supporting Families Through Transition

Bridging Resources for Healthier Outcomes for all ... especially children

A better way to divorce —for you, your kids, and your future.... because conflict is bad for everyone.

Divorce is more than a legal matter—it's a personal, emotional, and developmental turning point for every family member, especially children. The way you divorce can impact your child's long-term health and well-being. Our approach reduces trauma, lowers conflict, and helps families move forward.

How It Works

  • 1

    Identifying Resource Needs

We do an intake to determine needs: What resources are needed?

  • 2

    Partner Organization Referrals

We use UniteUs and other resources to refer to specific, tailored organizations like Karsch Center which offer food and housing assistance, child care and activities, medical, dental, vision care assistance.

  • 3

    Therapist & Doctor Involvement

We encourage you to contact the school therapist and pediatricians to keep an eye on the kids during this time. We provide sample letters to give to the professionals in your children's lives, so they may provide additional support to your children during this time.

  • 4

    Free Co-Parenting Class

We provide one co-parenting class for free (1.50 hours)

  • 5

    Learning Tools for Co-Parents

We provide bibliographies, links to information and personal co-parenting instruction.

  • 6

    Legal Process Overview

We explain the legal process, mediation, disclosure and refer to low cost / no-cost mediation services.  Only after you have received all of this support, resources and education are you guided to mediation to resolve your issues.  We DO NOT provide legal advice nor therapy- we refer you to the appropriate parties.
